Given: Two pieces of paper, 3 paper clips, 5 mailing labels, scissors and 4 straws
Move a much water as you can from a full bucket to an empty bucket,
using as many of the materials as you can without moving either bucket.
Buckets are re placed 5 feet apart.
You have 3 minutes to think and build, two minutes to transfer water and one minute to describe how you used the materials. Score on team work, creativity and how much water is moved

DA BRIDGE
Given: 10 3x5 index cards, 15 push pons, 20 drinking straws, 6 rubber bands, 5 mailing labels, and one match box car
Design a bridge that spans a 3 foot gap between two school desks.
It must be free standing and must be able to support the weight of the matchbox car as it runs unassisted.
You have 3 minutes

Moving balloons from one large garbage baskets to another large garbage basket without using your hands.
Use only 3 items: spatula, straws, chop sticks, paper clips, and construction paper

Take turns drawings crayons from a box. A crayon is chosen, the person holding the crayon renames it
and passes it onto to the next person. Each team member must rename the crayon.,
choose a new crayon and repeat the process.

Build a structure out of 25 toothpicks an one box of preset Jello. the object is to hold as many potatoes as possible

Each team member is given 5 colorful magazine pictures
THe team has five minutes to tell their story using the pictures
You will receive one point form ccommon portions of the story and five points for extremely creative portions of the story
Your problem is to tell a story that begins with Earth, goes somewhere not on Earth,
and ends in the human body

Nest Building
Given: 12 soda straws, 3 tall popsicle sticks, 1 9oz paper ccup, 5 toothpicks, one piece of cardboard (4" x 11/2")
and an assorted number of washers worth a desired weight.
You must build a nest at least 3 inches off the table
You have to build a nest inat least 5 minutes and test it in 2 minutes with washers.
You may go until it falls or time is up
Scoring:
Each lighter washer will be worth 1 point
Each heavier washer will be worth 4 points
