Name a place and tell why you would not want to live there?
Look at a picture and name things that you would do with the objects in it
Each of you have five cards numbered 1- 5.
You will answer in sequence and place one card in the middle of the table after each
response.
You will have 1 minute to think and 2 minutes to respond.
Each response will receive one time the point value of the card for a common response
and three times the point value for a creative response
Your problem is to name things that are inside fo other things
Name things that make you happy
Each team member will have 6 cards and turn in 1 card each turn.
Scoring: 5 pooints for super creative; 3 for creative; and 1 for common
If you fell out of a plane and had no parachute, but could radio to the pilot,
what would you say to the pilot?
Name things that change into something else
ex: ice changes into water
The team will be given no time to think and 3 minutes to respond
The response order will go in a circle around the table
Team members can not pass or skip their turn, neither may they answer out of turn
If one member of the team is stuck, the whole team is stuck
Each team member, in sequence, will state a proverb (epigram, platitude, or other
words of
wisdom using the last word of the preceding proverb as the first word of his/ her own.
Points will be given on humor and originality, as well as clarity and quality of
the proverb.
Up to 5 points can be rewarded for exceptionally creative answers, at the judges
discretion
Repeating a word is allowed, but not an entire proverb
ex: " Life is like a box of chocolates"; "Chocolates will ruin your skin,
but who cares?"
"Cares and woes, like acne, fade with time"; "Time is a fire in which we
burn";
"Burn your bridges, if you can swim faster"
